Ok, so I didn't write a post the next day lol.
But that's great because now I have more to write about in this post.
I just read Hannah's post today and this doesn't really compare, but it's something.
So I am a full fledged crew coach. I coach the Varsity men, specifically the lightweight men (or 2nd eight, whichever it is). I'm lovin' it. Motivating these kids is definitely more interesting and more rewarding than folding clothes all day.
I don't spend as much on gas in the commute either.
Today was my 6th day coaching and already! I am having breakthroughs. First of all, the team is very respectful and they take what I have to say to them seriously. Secondly, today I coached Michael through his 6K. He not only got a personal record, but I think he proved something to himself. This is the quiet/sometimes unhappy kid who was smiling the whole time after the workout. He also has the 7th best time out of the 6K's. He could be a serious rower if he tried this hard everyday.
I have a lot of kids who need to bulk up, but I was in the same position in hs.
Paperwork is still lame-o though. Boo paperwork.
Kyle just got back to our good ole country and he called me yesterday. He'll be down next week and we'll hang out then. Funny hearing his voice after so long (not counting him calling me on my birthday).
It's December! Holy crap! I've been out of school since May, and I've had 3 different jobs...I've paid off one loan (Thank God!), and been doing a lot of introspection (since everyone is all over the place).
I think it's also important to note that I have been in a wonderful relationship with my gf, Adrian, for 8 months as of the 7th. It doesn't seem like it's been that long, but it's really cool to think about. Kyle AND Adrian both poked fun at me for making it this long. I laughed too, lol.
I've been consistent then inconsistent about keeping up with friends. Depends on who and depends on the week. I'm working on it guys! No more crazy retail schedule!

Ah, November...
A new month and another new start. (granted we're well into the month)
I feel like with every new month, there are more opportunities to be thankful and things to look forward to as well.
I can't believe the Christmas commercials AND that the mall I work in is decorated for Christmas.
Not to mention that the playlist at work has the song "Silver Bells."
Christmas is my favorite season, but we're not there yet lol.
Work work work. Today is my day off.
I'm off on Mondays and Saturdays now, and this weekend, I took full advantage of that. Adrian and I got to catch up with Tom and Kim, and Nick and Kasia. Really cool.
I know it's been a while since my last post, but I always forget to blog when things happen (Kara). I'm more likely to text or call people (even though some people are really bad at texting back ->Housemates minus the girls).
I've been a manager now for over 2 months and it has gone by quickly. Future plans = transferring to another store that's closer (it only took 25 mins to get to Annapolis today) or finding another job. Of course with Black Friday and the Christmas rush for retail, it will be an interesting next few weeks.
Kyle will be back soon, come the beginning of December. He even called me internationally on my birthday, which meant a lot. Recently I got to talk to Craig too, which was good because I feel like we're in the same boat with weird work schedules and whatnot.
Oh birthday! For my birthday, Adrian took me to Fogo de Chao. I remember talking about this restaurant since I lived with Mark Koury junior year. Wow. The food. Wow. And great company of course.
My military buddy, Harry, is now back from overseas. Wow it's been a year since I've seen him last. Hey man, if you're reading this, call me bro.

Random Life Update
You know, we are not in England (like Kyle),
BUT it sure feels like it.
It's 45 degrees out and it will be raining everyday for the next few days. Cold and rainy sure sounds like where you are man lol.
I think the commute to work is starting to get to me. With traffic, it's 1 1/2 hrs there, and the same back. That means 3 hrs of my day are spent in the car lol. Wow.
Oh man, when I get paid tomorrow, I am actually going to start paying off my loans. Weird how being an adult and having bills makes me want to just sit around and do nothing so that I can save money.
On another random note, which this whole blog is, I wonder what the future holds for me.
Last night, (at Adrian's place) a locksmith came over. He was a grad student at the UMD from Israel who working part time as a locksmith. Very intelligent guy and we talked about psychology and all kinds of things. The conversation reconnected me with my feelings about psychology as a useful means to helping people, in terms of relationship counseling, etc. Def something to keep on the back burner with music production.
Anyway, thanks for reading my thoughts. If I have any other significant thoughts, you'll know.

JJ? JJ!
This blog post title has 2 meanings.
1) It's a pun on the last blog post title that JJ mentioned when I saw him.
2) I saw JJ! He wrote our House an amazing email. I'm keeping that forever. If you're reading this baby boy, much love!
The ministers are back for training already. Wow. I've been going back to school early for training for 2 years. But, it is time to move on.
Since the last post, cool things have happened. Leah is back for FOCUS. Robert is back for good, it seems. AND I was able to track Kyle down on the phone and he'll be here in just a couple weeks.
In other news, Lima, a bar off of McPherson Square, has a happy hour every weekday 5-6pm where you can get free drinks. No cover charge. No joke. Ask Kelsey or Matt. We enjoyed it.
In serious news, I am now waiting on a different job. Sister Sally is taking too long in getting back to me. She was supposed to let me know if I got the job last week. When I called her because I hadn't heard from her, she was going on vacation (again) and would let me know after she returned. Well I can't wait forever.
In the mean time, I applied for a manager job at Abercrombie on a whim because all you need is a BA degree.
They emailed me back the same day.
The next day I met the current manager. I sent them my resume that night.
The next day they called while I was at Mass, and they wanted me to come in and meet the distrcit manager.
I met the district manager Monday (yesterday) and tomorrow I am meeting with the other district manager.
In other words, they are serious. It's so refreshing to see that people are professional and they keep up with correspondance. Wow, it's nice.
This job is really exciting because the company takes care of their employees and promotes from within.
Now, last tidbit.
Mike Beard left yesterday for Peru and I got to talk to him on Sunday before he left. Gonna keep him in my prayers. Jules and Hannah, if you ever see this, I'm praying for u too.
AND the wonderful woman in my life never ceases to amaze me.
