Hello, hello.
i know it's been a lil while. wow a lot has happened since the last time. last time it was still senior week. this time, it's summer.
RECAP!
i drove Kyle to the airport tuesday morning at 3 am. up til 3 am, we played mario cart beating all of the cups.
now checking him in was an ordeal, but not because of him. there was language barrier with the ppl that worked there. not to mention, there was a worker, making sure the poles were perfect. you know those poles which are used to divide up and make lines/ a queue? yeah. we watched a lady measure them and make sure they were exactly 4 "feet" apart. by the time she did that, she couldve checked in all of the guests. dang.
and before all this on monday afternoon, Kyle and I took Leah to the airport.
alas. none of these were goodbyes. especially since i get to see all of the guys at Tom and Kim's wedding in a month. woot woot!
onto graduation...baccalaureate was really nice. i think it was my favorite part about graduation. afterwards, Tom, Mike, Kyle, Pat, and I (along with all of our families) went out to eat at Maggiano's over in Chevy Chase. good food. good time.
THEN...the next day. first off, it started raining. it was more than a drizzle and i though it was going to pour! luckily, it did not. and actually, my other favorite part of graduation was the speaker, Raymond Kelly, the police commissioner of NYC, who was great. amazing speech and very optimisitc while being realistic with us. challenging, i would say.
afterwards, i took pix with the fam of course. Mom started crying. I know it was a big deal. it felt like a big deal too. then i literally booked it over to the mils to say goodbye to Adrian and her family since they were flying out for her sister's graduation, which was the next day. dang.
NOW. present tense. I'm just workin. I get paid tomorrow. money in the bank. literally.
it's weird not seeing the House everyday. Matt is in Belize. he's gonna love it. weird to think that i was there a year ago. and i was MAD sick. miss you, House.
fingers still crossed about a job, etc.
it's summer, so expect a post when something exciting or profound occurs. sooner than later is more likely. til then, this should keep you entertained. look up target dance party on youtube. wow. now i know there's something wrong with kids nowadays for sure.
