Weekend!

Well back to the grind. Back to school. At least no classes today haha.

The weekend was great. The Big Apple is friggin huge. Good company didn't hirt either. Kyle, Mike, and I stank after the weekend though - lots of smokers, not showering. Eh, it was cold, not like we were sweating. Still gross though for sure, bleh!

Friday night: Take the megabus; we arrive; stressful finding the right subway line for the first time, but not so bad after that; chipotle burritos are always clutch - saved us mucho at Buenos Aires, the Argentine steakhouse. Amazing steak though. Good company - Luther, Alexis, Tho-mas, and Laura with rolling R's. Aster area - hip like U street. Afterwards, we went to Solas to dance, but it was packed! Went to bed late...

Saturday: We did all the touristy things. Brooklyn Bridge, Time Square, Radio City and St. Patrick's Cathedral. Stopped halfway so Kyle and Katie could refuel on food at The Red Lion on Bleecker. All Mike and I ate that day was macaroni and cheese until we made pasta that night with no sauce or anything. Low calorie weekend - in a bad way. Stopped by Magnolia Bakery to mack on some cupcakes. Holla Lazy Sunday.
That night we went to Le Royale. Techno Club. To cap off the night, we swung by Daddy-O's, which is a Pittsburgh style bar with a signed Steelers helmet. Late night again. Yikes.

Sunday: back on the road and back home to DC.

Great weekend. Good to be back. One week and we'll be in the BA-HA-MAS. Not too bad.

Forgot!

I went home today. Ran some errands. Got my contacts checked. Yes they work well.

If only I stopped wearing one inside out. Good explanation bro.

Played a lil halo. Ate chicken sandwiches. Sat with my cat on the couch.

Wow I love home.

Good walk around campus tonight too. It was worth not doing homework for a little.

Spring break, where are you?

Typical evening

It's just about 3 in the mornin.

It's sad that this isn't out of the ordinary, although it is much more uncommon this year. I've been making an effort to go to bed early so I can be rested and work out hard, not get sick, etc.

At least the hw is something I enjoy. Theology reflections take time but are def rewarding.
Physics hw that I just did - not so much. BAH physics. Not a fan.

Community is great. Everyone should experience it. Although it's not always easy, it's always worth it. Good kick in the butt tonight.

Mister JJ might be starting a blog. Can't friggin wait. Seriously.

Good song on right now. Matt Duke. Great suggestion btw. Thank you Therese.

I guess I should stop slacking. I wish we had made a movie for the campusmoviefest. The macbook pro was amazing. Gotta get one.

Early morning tomorrow. Or today that is.

Back to work.

Day after Valentine's

Ah!

Good times. Let's see...Where to start?

Yesterday Kyle, Mike, and I had dinner with Monica and her sisters. They all wear sassy pants. Sheesh. But overall a good time. Hopefully her sisters will come again. Monica is more laid-back when they're around. Her sisters were tons of laughs anyway. McGinty's? haha

Tom and Kim saw Slumdog Millionaire with us. AMAZING movie. One of my favorites. Ever.
The theatre was pretty impressive too. AFI Silver. Old school theatre with modern touches.

TODAY, we went out to Matchbox in Chinatown. Our chaplain is great. The food was great. All around greatness. Mini trio for an appetizer. Scallops, crabcakes and angus steak. Need I say more? Chicken and pesto pizza. Wow I actually had to get a box. Not to mention the Mango Madness "manly martini" was good. Must get the "Chinatown" next time. They were actually called manly martinis. Interesting. haha

Just a little free time. Then on to a meeting, then Luau meeting, then Redline rehearsal.

Weekends are for catching up. Never getting ahead. I like it that way actually. I like being in the moment and enjoying myself. What is it? Something like 90 ish days til graduation. Weird!
