Random Summer Days

It's been a lil while and i must apologize.

BUT tomorrow i have a job interview. for a teaching position no less. fingers crossed.
i have a couple good things i wanna say already, so that should help.

tomorrow, Joe Moser and I are gonna wash our cars.

this week Matt, my buddy from the House, gets back from Belize and our chaplain is going to take Coll, Kels, Matt, and me out for a meal. cool. can't wait.

Adrian, is out of town, because she's going on vacation with her family in SC to an island. She'll be gone a week, but i'll see her when she gets back this Saturday. So im def lookin forward to the weekend.

also i have some visitors paying me a visit this week. Maggie and Erin are comin down and that should be a good time. although...i am working. AND Friday is my brother's graduation, which is exciting, but also unfortunately the day that they are visiting.

anyway, in the fall, my bro is going to Catholic. keeping the tradition alive.

that's all for now.

Summer/Post-Grad Life

Hello, hello.

i know it's been a lil while. wow a lot has happened since the last time. last time it was still senior week. this time, it's summer.

RECAP!

i drove Kyle to the airport tuesday morning at 3 am. up til 3 am, we played mario cart beating all of the cups.
now checking him in was an ordeal, but not because of him. there was language barrier with the ppl that worked there. not to mention, there was a worker, making sure the poles were perfect. you know those poles which are used to divide up and make lines/ a queue? yeah. we watched a lady measure them and make sure they were exactly 4 "feet" apart. by the time she did that, she couldve checked in all of the guests. dang.
and before all this on monday afternoon, Kyle and I took Leah to the airport.

alas. none of these were goodbyes. especially since i get to see all of the guys at Tom and Kim's wedding in a month. woot woot!

onto graduation...baccalaureate was really nice. i think it was my favorite part about graduation. afterwards, Tom, Mike, Kyle, Pat, and I (along with all of our families) went out to eat at Maggiano's over in Chevy Chase. good food. good time.

THEN...the next day. first off, it started raining. it was more than a drizzle and i though it was going to pour! luckily, it did not. and actually, my other favorite part of graduation was the speaker, Raymond Kelly, the police commissioner of NYC, who was great. amazing speech and very optimisitc while being realistic with us. challenging, i would say.

afterwards, i took pix with the fam of course. Mom started crying. I know it was a big deal. it felt like a big deal too. then i literally booked it over to the mils to say goodbye to Adrian and her family since they were flying out for her sister's graduation, which was the next day. dang.

NOW. present tense. I'm just workin. I get paid tomorrow. money in the bank. literally.
it's weird not seeing the House everyday. Matt is in Belize. he's gonna love it. weird to think that i was there a year ago. and i was MAD sick. miss you, House.

fingers still crossed about a job, etc.

it's summer, so expect a post when something exciting or profound occurs. sooner than later is more likely. til then, this should keep you entertained. look up target dance party on youtube. wow. now i know there's something wrong with kids nowadays for sure.

No More April Showers

So for the past two weeks it's been raining off and on, but mostly on.

we are finally seeing some nice weather now. it's 70 degress out today and sunny. nice.

it's may 13th so only 3 days til graduation. senior week has been fun with another cool night tonight - the dinner cruise. alum bbq on saturday was cool, which led to slip and sliding behind the trailers. dish soap and strawberry shampoo on a tarp with a hose. nice. then the baseball game in baltimore on sunday. little italy never tasted so good. yum. casino night was a hit too. on monday night i raked in the chips. 3 orange chips at the end of the night = the most chips anyone had. i must be getting better. yesterday was duf day. kickball tourny and free t shirts.

today is wednesday and again it'll be more of..."i'm on a boat!"

i started packing my room yesterday. it's weird that i won't be coming back to The House. 2 years in this place.

it's still weird with JJ and Kara gone. and then there were 6.

i've got a summer job, and living in opus, but i'm really just waiting to hear back about that job...

last night was jam packed after duf day though. the friars has us over. bacon wrapped scallops. fr. andy made sushi. and finally filet mignon for the real dinner with asparagus and other stuff on the side. wow. and i thought qudoba hit the spot yesterday at the duf.

last thoughts. my health insurance expires in june. i REALLY need a job.
im also paying for my own car insurance. therefore i REALLY need to find a place to live. where i live, the car insurance is too high.

final final thoughts. Adrian's family is coming in tomorrow. gotta be on top of my game. and friday = maggiano's after baccalaureate with the guys and our families.

look for a post soon. lots goin on nowadays.

thanks for readin!

My Last Finals Week

dang son. how'd it get it here so fast?
certainly, I was glad to be finished with class. no doubt. AND im ready to finish finals. and i haven't even started yet.

but lots to say...

yesterday was my interview for a youth minister position. it went really well. time will tell, right? fingers crossed for sure. it would be a super sweet deal. i've got the food to feed their hunger. bc theyre hungry out there all right.

im still shaking off a cold but i feel way better than i did last friday. blah mucinex.

btw, last friday was the LUAU!!! = the biggest celebration on campus you'll ever find.
as many as 2500 ppl? yeah. expensive/$27,000 yo
1200 shirts. gone. in 45 minutes. and also expensive/was a donation from pepsi.
luau 2009, my last luau as a student. priceless.

i had my sign language final conversation with mario today. it went well. we talked about my future job possibilities. great guy.

2 days from now = 1 month. wow time flies. especially for us.

senior week is rollin up on us. mother's day is this sunday. graduation is one week from this saturday. weird.

i've been trying to meet with people 1 on 1. it's necessary as Emmjolee pointed out, but i'm only realizing it now as the year comes to a close. 1 on 1's with the House? for sure. with the guys? for sure. i just wanna get everyone that's on my list. it's turning out to be a longer list than i thought though lol.

what will the future hold? time will tell. His will or the highway.

but the summer looks good.
potentially 2 jobs = bank. boy do i need that. i mean we all do. He provides.
Matty Au haha, Coll, Kels, Charlie, Matt P, Joseph Moser!, and Nicholas Valentino will be around. many good times to come this summer, i'm thinkin.

note to self. find a place to live.
